Re: Hold on to your intestines ....

I'm glad no one videoed me and my daughter watching it, there was a lot of shouting and swearing. At least the comedy walker 'death' sort of lightened the mood briefly. It was emotional.

It looks like the spoiler site you referenced was spot on.

Re: Hold on to your intestines ....

Ammo can last forever as long as it stays dry so it doesn't get corroded. That's good to know, we have an air rifle that will have to do in the event of a ZA. I actually seriously thought about telling my sister to get a shotgun licence - over here only posh people who live in the country are allow...

Re: Off to Paris this Saturday

I didn't know anything about Chicago when the conference trip was organised, I just assumed it would be a boring, cold, northern city. The more I've read about it since the more I think I made a mistake and should have gone, it sounds really interesting but still cold. Also, because everyone is off ...

Re: Hold on to your intestines ....

I can't see it being Eugene. He's about to become way too important with his ammunition making skills. Even though in reality that makes no sense. They're in the U.S. so even if the human population was as high as 1% what it used to be (it's nowhere near that many) there's enough ammo in this count...

Re: Off to Paris this Saturday

I have to go to Paris soon, we have collaborators there. I'm not a fan of Paris, I prefer London. I shirked going to Chicago in November - it's a big conference that I'm supposed to go to - but next year it's in New Orleans and I'm quite tempted with that. Ever been?

Re: Ever block someone on facebook?

I haven't unfriended anyone but I've been unfriended twice. Once was my fault, I made a stupid off the cuff comment that I later apologised for but, too late. He was an IMBDer I didn't really know but it was my fault so I felt bad. The other was a really old friend, someone I spent a lot of time wit...

Re: Hold on to your intestines ....

I missed that, don't people have better things to do than stalk film sets? It's quite possible that AMC are using misdirection though, their last Glen cliffhanger was spoilered. I suppose both characters have reached the end of an arc but I quite liked both of them. As long as they don't kill off Mi...

Hold on to your intestines ....

The Walking Dead is back in October, I've even got a NowTV subscription so I don't have download it. So after a summer to reflect on it, who died? I really don't think they can get away with killing off a minor character like Aaron so I think it's going to be Abraham or Glen. Can't decide which but ...

Re: More on rape by deception

There was a case recently here (UK) were a woman pretended to be a man to have sex with a female friend. She was eventually convicted of sexual assault, not rape. It was a very odd case but I don't think she was guilty of rape, I don;t think you can retrospectively withdraw consent because someone l...
