Re: This is the thread I'm making to list my 2025 movies
14. El Camino (2019) - Good, but not as good as either of the shows from the same universe. Part of my problem is that I just preferred my own headcanon for what became of Jessie after he drives away at the end of Breaking Bad... even if it's far more unrealistic, I always imagined him just getting...

Dune Part 1 - This was pretty much dogshit. The characterization was borderline nonexistent, the story was thin and unengaging, the pacing was turgid, the world it built felt extremely fake and small, and the soundtrack was just generic Arab desert music with a woman going "aaaah AAAAaaah aaaa...

DKC3 was a fixture of my childhood for some weird reason. I really liked it, while I didn't care about the first one much and I never played the second. Yeah, a bit, particularly the very last scene and the scene about halfway through the season with Homelander's public temper tantrum. If I remember correctly Booksmart did a joke essentially like that with the pizza delivery guy with the guilty conscience, only funnier because it was quicker and more subtle. I think Mean Girls slowly got worse as it went on. The first half or whatever of it was pretty good, the second was just ok.

Poor conservatives. Even the most high-profile and respected "conservative" Hollywood guy they can point to and claim as their own is, at best, only ambiguously conservative. It must be tiring to keep losing the culture war so hard.
