Re: 2021

Yeah my problem was that it much more of a standard horror movie than the surreal psychological horror the story was and it what it seemed like it was going to be at first. 28 Days Later - This movie is alright. It's not anything really special; I don't know why I have it as one of my favorite movie...

Re: Rax/Maz/Jimbo 2021 Games Thread

Yeah I remember thinking DK1 is really hard and punishing. I guess I like that in video games, though. Cuphead was insane but that made it much more fun. Another of my favorite games is Jak II, which is famously hard. I don't consider it that hard, probably because I'm always so into it that it does...

It has some mild hiccups but I think it's pretty great. I've watched it multiple times and it has no diminishing returns for me. Just want to say I do read these posts, I just never have anything to add to them. DKC2 is the only game from that trilogy I haven't played; I really like the third one. Gonna do something different here. Instead of seeing a bunch of random movies for the first time, I'm gonna go down the list of my personal favorites in alphabetical order and rewatch them all, and say what I think. I shut everything off after Texas came in, I think. For the rest of the night I was fully convinced Trump was actually going to win again. It was a sickening, nauseating, unbelieving feeling. I felt sort of how I felt in 2016. Anxiety and nausea. Even taking into account the fact of the "red mi...

I haven't seen The Quartering's videos (never heard of him), but I have seen videos where people basically show decontextualized clips of the movie and point and stutter at them in performative shock and outrage. The problem people have with this movie is the cinematography. It shows extended close-ups of body parts of children in sexualized poses and whatnot.
