The message I get from that video is that violence towards women, slut-shaming, internalised-misogyny and objectification of women all contribute to rape culture, therefore contributing towards actual instances of rape. I seriously doubt that the narrator's point is to suggest that witnessing random...

It's a weird franchise. Largely critically unloved for the first 4 films, it's like they decided that writing decent scripts might help them from the fifth movie on, and the box office numbers have gone through the roof. Check out the respective figures from Rotten Tomatoes and Box Office Mojo. The ...

I don't think Latin American countries are major producers of any of the things you list, except fruit, and oil in the case of Venezuela. What resources is Latin America wealthy in? Ummm... gold, niquel, titanium, uranium, fruit, energy (hidro plants, biodiesel, oil... etc). Those resources get exploited and sold by foreign transnational enterprises. It's very likely that the raw materials used to make your cellphone came from here. ...

There has to be a name if only for children sake because the hyphen thing only works for so many generations. Hah, good point! Rightly or wrongly people get angry. Exactly. If telling someone what they are allowed be angry about is called 'tone policing', then 'tone policing' is a euphemism for being a dick. Some people will react angrily when they see injustice, while some are able to take a more measured tone, the point ...
