I see my assassins have failed to take out Jimbo once again... I've been mostly playing video games myself (Nothing anyone here would seem to care about, except for maybe Final Fantasy 6 and BioShock 2), and I haven't seen too many movies lately. I've been watching all of the various King Kong movie...

Remakes are common place these days; why is this one a big deal? Remakes have always been common. It's not some new phenomenon. This can't be emphasized enough. The beginning years of narrative film are littered with remakes, adaptations etc. No different than now. This just means you should put fo...

Also if we actually wanted to proactively do something maybe we could start by taking in some of their MOTHERFUCKING REFUGEES. That's the part that really gets me. We shamefully turned down the refugees and then, on a fucking whim, Trump just launches missiles upon their country. Even if Assad is r...

Re: Sequels that were better than the first one
I dunno, BoaN being more overt made it much easier to talk about and confront even in 1915 (Though that obviously wasn't enough to stop the Klan from returning). LotR being more coded and "timeless" and generalized in some ways makes it too easy to project onto- hence people like Rick Sant...

Re: Sequels that were better than the first one
I've never really liked any of the LOTR movies, though its been a long time since I last saw them. So someone on Reddit noticed something a little odd in Rear Window . Here's a screengrab of the moment in particular. I can't say I've ever noticed that room flashing up like that before. While there's stuff I nitpick about it, RE7 does more right than it does wrong. I still ended up playing through the main game 4 entire times in the week it came out. If you're already interested in it I would recommend checking it out when the chance presents itself.

Your choices should carry over to season 3 fine if you're on the same system. If you're jumping, say, from season 2 on the PS3 to season 3 on the PS4 there's a bit of a convoluted process you need to go through to carry your choices over. Nothing from Michonne carries over btw. As far as Jane goes e...
