Home: If this had been in Pixar's (or even DIsney's) hand or had been given the same treatment as How to Train Your Dragon, I think this movie could have been really good. As it is, it's simply you're stereotypical kid's movie that has some clever moments, but all the kiddie aspects of it makes it incredibly difficult to get through. Jim Parson's voice and just the way the aliens speak are grating. Rihanna felt miscast, occasionally sounding older than her character should, and only used to justify having her do the soundtrack. It's unfortunate because I saw flashes that really showed the potential for this movie. Still better than Minions or Strange Magic, but that's not hard to do. 6/10
