So, I don't know if any of you have seen this. I learned of it via Facebook and normally this is the kind of thing I don't give a single solid shit about, but I'm bored so I'd like to hear some opinions. Here's a link to the video:



The short version of the controversy is that people are up in arms about this because it gives off creepy pedophile vibes. It's definitely weird in the sense that I find all avant-garde (or things that aspire to that motif) art weird. But I'm not sure if I get pedo vibes from it. What says the board?

Heard something about it the other day and thought - ah fuck it I'll check the video out and see if there is any substance to the claim at all but was immediately suspicious given the same crap stirred up when she put out the video for Chandelier. Was watching waiting for the bit that I was supposed to be concerned about and - apart from a moment when they were both on the floor looking at each other intently...I didn't see it.

Seems it's more about that she is wearing a skin tight leotard and he is in is boxers that everyone has jumped on the "ohh the sexual inappropriateness of it all" thing which seems to ignore any possible actual content that suggests anything even remotely sexual.

I think the people who are going to view this is "pedo" are probably the same who view genitalia on classical statuary as "porno". They're going to get vibes from the older male/younger female casting regardless of the content.
