Mt largest caliber revolver is a .454 Casull. Anything bigger than that is overkill . Once that particular caliber became commercially available and not just a wildcat round, every revolver manufacturer went crazy trying to outdo it just because they could. I'm one of the few people I know who can shoot a .44 Magnum safely and accurately with one hand and I've been shooting for over 40 years. There's nobody on the planet who can shoot a .454 one-handed and anything bigger than that is pointless. I linked to a video one time of some redneck firing a .600 S&W. Even two-handed he could barely hold he gun and accidentally fired two shots in one when the gun bucked in his hand and hurt his wrist. After four shots he was done. I don't even have a practical use for my .454 but it's mine because Jesus. If I was interested in big game hunting with a pistol then I would have a use for it, but I'm not so I don't. But still...Jesus. Then again I also own three Remington 700 Safari Rifles; a .375 H&H Magnum, .416 Rem Magnum, and .458 Win Magnum and I've never been to Africa and I've only fired the .458 twice in 15 years and it almost broke my shoulder but did I mention Jesus?
