This is obviously a bullshit conspiracy theory of the type that could only exist in the era of social media. That said, however, if you have a photo posted online of a barely clothed six or seven year-old girl with her hands taped to a table then, at the very least, YOU ARE FUCKING WEIRD!

I thought this would be about that time Donald Trump ate pizza with a fork.

I did way too much googling on this.
if you have a photo posted online of a barely clothed six or seven year-old girl with her hands taped to a table
I found the photo, and she's fully clothed: http://vigilantcitizen.com/wp-content/u ... lms-TV.png

In an interview he said that the girl is his goddaughter, and she was playing with another young girl who thought it would be fun to play with tape. Presumably he thought it was funny and snapped a photo. Based on the motion blur, the 'man standing behind her' was just passing by and not in fact about to have sex with her.

Some of the other photos of children on his Instagram were apparently photos from people who had liked Comet's page on Facebook - many of them parents - who posted photos of their kids enjoying pizza at the place, which seems entirely logical. He likely reposted them for the publicity; if I ran a pizza place I'd do the same. Conspiracy theorists figured that they were all obviously part of the pedo sex cult and started spreading those photos on their websites, which has apparently made a lot of those parents horrified and upset that they're being accused of selling their children into sexual slavery, when all they did was take them out for pizza.

and lol this: http://vigilantcitizen.com/wp-content/u ... lms-TV.png
with the caption: "For some reason, Alefantis posted a picture of a cavernous room. EVERY SINGLE comment next to this picture is EXTREMELY CREEPY, almost as if they knew that something awful was about to happen there." [none]

another site later referenced that room as the 'kill room', even though I'm fairly sure that hashtag was meant as a joke.

That said, the Heavy Breathing band that performed at Comet once (or more?) has some very dodgy sexual-themed art with children on their website, and that skeeves me out far more.

Yep I just came here to post that.
Court records released Monday showed that Welch "surrendered peacefully when he found no evidence that underage children were being harbored in the restaurant."
Well, that's good to know.

Although people are now claiming that this news was manufactured as part of the cover up. [none]

ok what https://twitter.com/JackPosobiec/status ... 0160025600

Is there a reason why so many people are completely convinced this is true? Is there a chance that it is? Is there information that I don't know about? Is it a case of one or a few actual pedophiles from which they've built the conspiracy theory involving lots of other people who aren't?

Our polarizing political system creates a whole buttload of people who want this to be true so badly, they find ways of ignoring the facts and reaffirming each other's horse shit. If you're a republican, democrats are the devil. Child molestation is considered one of the most vile acts, if not the most vile act, a person can commit. Of course they'd believe the devil's Party is led by a bunch of child molesters.

tbh the worst thing about Pizzagate is the reminder that there exist actual pedophilic sex rings, just (probably) not this one.

If you have a bunch of rich and powerful people doing something in secret, odds are there's going to be a pedophilic sex ring involved. It's fucked, but it happens so insanely often that it should be classified as a physical law by now.

I don't know most of the details of this and don't care. If Hillary operates a pedophilia ring through a pizzeria or whatever, that'll be one of the least horrible things she's done. I'll just say that we actually have a recent precedent of mass abuse perpetrated against children by powerful people, with the mass media (along with law enforcement) covering it up for an extremely long time, and the truth only eventually getting out through racist far-right conspiracy websites.

Sometimes the fringe bloggers are correct. That doesn't mean they're correct about this, but if they were, it wouldn't exactly be unprecedented.
