People have been saying Trump will be judged most by how he handles his first "real crisis" as President. Well, he's facing the first real crisis of his presidency right now. And he's failing. Massively. Catastrophically. Horrifically. Worse than Katrina, maybe.

What's happening to Puerto Rico is making me want to throw up. This stupid spectacle with the NFL is serving only as a distraction from it. I have family members in Puerto Rico that I'm going to visit early next year. The thought of them without electricity or fresh water for months, along with three and a half million other people, is making me ill.

My pet lesbian # 1 has family in Puerto Rico in one of the small villages on the eastern end of the main island and she is understandably worried. But the orange man-baby will continue his Twitter fights and his base - Nazis, racists, imbeciles (in other words - the majority of the people in this country) will continue to support him. Next election, the Democrats will nominate another corporate shill and Trump will win re-election with ease. This is the country we live in now. It's always been the country we live in but it took Trump to make it obvious. A country where peacefully protesting cops killing unarmed black people = traitor, but proudly flying the flag of traitors = patriotic. Pet lesbian # 1 has an older half-brother (not Puerto Rican, he's from my side of the family) who is one of these people and she refuses to even talk to him anymore, with good fucking reason. He's one of the stupidest people on the planet. He can't believe some of his own family refuse to associate with him because of this shit. It's his right, BY GAWD! Yes, he has an Hispanic lesbian sister, an Hispanic gay brother, a black niece, several black cousins, two Asian cousins and three Native American cousins and he can't understand why it's a bad thing for him to support Trump and fly a Confederate flag. Did I mention he represents the majority? My oldest brother is the same way, just not as vocal about it, and he has a black daughter. We had our family reunion two weekends ago and after it was over my only surviving uncle and thus the family patriarch and one of them evil liberals called and asked why I missed it. I said "too many Nazis". He said "I thought that might be the reason". My mom's side of the family, who I haven't spoken to in decades, support Trump and they are fucking gypsies. My grandmother had relatives who died at the hands of the Nazis and they still support this orange bastard.

Yeah, I don't know, man. Trump is so awful as a person, so OBVIOUSLY awful, that I thought he would be sort of like the new Fred Phelps. Someone so obviously horrifically evil that even the worst people on Earth could look at him and go, "Yeah... that guy sucks." Liberal atheists and crazy right-wing religious fundamentalists used to be able to look at Fred Phelps and the WBC and be temporarily united in their genuine disgust and hatred, in one short yet beautiful moment of harmony. The entire country could join together and stop fighting temporarily whenever Fred came up, pause, and be all like, "Yeah, that guy's a POS." I kind of thought Trump could serve as that person a few years ago. Now he's President of the United States. Yeah, I was kind of off.

I mean, he has all vices and no virtues. He embodies, like, several dozen vices alone. He has literally no redeeming qualities. He by himself symbolizes most of humanity's worst characteristics. And he's so goddamn OBVIOUS about it, I don't know how anyone could possibly think about him and not taste bile. Whatever, I've been over this before.

Not sure I'm as confident as you about him winning re-election, but I don't even know anymore. If Bernie decides to run again he's going to win the primary whether the Democrats like it or not. And he'll probably win. If he doesn't, then fucking Joe Biden or Kamala Harris or Mark Zuckerberg is going to win the primary, and that'll be the end of that. Have you heard that a lot of people think Hillary Clinton is going to run again? Lmao. We live in a hell world.

Hillary wants to be sure Bernie doesn't try giving away any free ponies. Kamala Harris IS Hillary Clinton. They are the same damn person. We live in a country where not only do center-right politicians (most Democrats) get referred to as liberal while supporting wars for oil and laws that favor corporate power, but where people, including Bernie himself, actually believe that a slightly left-of-center politician like Bernie is a fucking Socialist. My state is one of many that is entirely hopeless because the Republicans are too entrenched and even the Democrats proudly refer to themselves as "Conservative Democrats" meaning that if a gang of rednecks beat up a black man for no reason then he probably deserved it but the rednecks need to show some restraint and stop after he has a few broken bones. Someone like Bernie could debate even an imbecile like Trump on important policy issues with Bernie making a well thought out and truthful speech lasting five or six minutes and then all Trump needs to do for a follow-up is say, "Well at times like these I believe we should follow the example of the good people here in the Heartland and be thankful for our AR-15s and ask ourselves 'What would Jesus do?'" That's the end of it, the debate is over, Trump just won everything south of Virginia and Kentucky and he's a few Hallelujahs and one racist tweet away from winning both of those states plus Missouri and Arizona and if he remembers to throw in "Cuba is bad. My opponent loves Cuba, Sad." then Florida goes to Trump again. These people don't think, they've been conditioned for decades not to think. You can win them over every time with "God, guns, and "Look at them evil liberals." These people take pride in their grandparents generation being so hard-working yet the very reason their grandparents were able to even make a living at all from all that hard work is because of TVA, one of the most liberal programs (if not THE most liberal) to ever be implemented south of the Mason-Dixon Line. At least 90% of the jobs their grandparents had were either being employed by TVA or being employed in industries that would have never set up in the South had it not been for TVA and these dumbfucks still don't get it. Their thinking is limited so much that Trump could tell them he is going to start a nuclear war for no reason and as long as he tells them they can keep their guns while he's standing on the steps of a church in downtown Nashville with a few country music singers and NASCAR drivers standing behind him then the South is Trump country. This idiot literally forgot that his wife just made a trip with him on Air Force One and that she was standing right beside him. He thought she stayed behind in D.C. and these people still can't comprehend that he is an imbecile because they are imbeciles. He outright lied to the people in coal country, they knew he was lying when he said it, he is going to lie to them again and they are still going to vote for him because the Democrats aren't going to tell them any truths that sound better than Trump's lies. He has tapped in to the limited thinking of the people he needs to win and I'm not sure which states he won this time that even Bernie could take from him next time.

Puerto Ricans are lucky they didn't suffer a real catastrophe. Is there really nobody close to this imbecile who can tell him to just shut the fuck up sometimes?

Word is Trump was throwing packages of toilet paper into a crowd of hurricane victims like they were at a sporting event and he was tossing out tee shirts.

You can't make this shit up.
