Fun topic this time: What's the creepiest thing someone has told you?

Two years ago, through my parent's friends I found myself involved in a catholic group of the Opus Dei, they were people around my age and social status. So I was happy about it since at my university I've always socialized with people who are somewhat different to me. But these guys came from good families, with american influences, my parents have met their parents, they read the same books I read, watch the same movies, they even play Mass Effect!... So apparently it was all good. The one thing is that they were Catholics from the Opus Dei, but I don't really care about that since that it's the reality here. I can put up with religion.

Anyway the leader of the group was a dude and he is probably a narcissist. As in psychological disorder narcissist psychopath. So he and I started to have problems, he was being manipulative and controlling. So there were two situations:

When he asked me to hang out with him, alone, and I said "No." And he said "Don't worry! I can't rape you. If I ever rape you you will tell your mom, your mom will tell her friend and my life will be over. So I won't do it." [none]

The last time I spoke on the phone with him he told me "I don't understand why don't you trust me! Why can't you trust me? The worst thing that can happen in this relationship is getting you pregnant and I leave, well actually the worst thing that can happen is me killing you and leaving your body in different plastic bags."

I never answered the phone since then, he continued to stalk me for several months. Just last week he called me again, didn't answer. So yeah, creepy psychos are creepy psychos.

I can't think of anything really creepy that's happened to me. No stalkers that I'm aware of. I remember the first day of highschool when I was a scared, shrimpy little freshman and a male senior stopped to me to tell me I was "beautiful". I just remember feeling like I was being preyed on. Like I was fresh meat in prison or something.

Not many creepy situations, but some potentially dangerous ones...like the time I had an automatic rifle pointed right at my chest when visiting Nigeria. So, I go visit my father in Nigeria from time to time. He did not raise me, but he's pretty successful and has run for governor a couple times(and is generally involved in politics). Most people say he lost because of corruption in the election process. One time I visited him during election/political season, and he apparently hires Nigerian military police(mopo) for protection because that's how dangerous and corrupt things get. So, I was heading out late one night to walk to a bar down the street from us, and there's is only one exit out of the compound...which the mopo was stationed at..and he was passed out. I must have startled him awake as I attempted to open the door, because I heard him cock the rifle(it was dark) and then saw it was pointed right at might chest. And he yelled "who's that??" I just went back in the house in shock. I didn't tell anyone. I sometimes wonder if I died there and my continued living is a delusion, like Bruce Willis in the Sixth Sense.

Maybe... you do look like a ghost to me.

I've had stalkerish behavior before. It was usually guys following me around everywhere making the whole situation uncomfortable, but it was the case that if I had liked them, I wouldn't have think it was stalkerish. I also received a couple of calls from a dude claiming he was my secret admirer and wanted to leave me clues and stuff so I could find out who he was, told him I wasn't interested. Didn't help the guy kept on texting me anyway, then on his last text he was calling me a stuck up bitch.

It's horrible being a woman!

No one has ever told me anything really creepy, or if they have, I've repressed it enormously. The creepiest thing that has ever happened to me is, like you, being on the receiving end of someone who was clearly given 'Stalking for Nice Guys: A Primer' for Christmas. Make your own jokes about my boyfriend except don't because it's a public board and y'all know my feelings on that.

My boss went on a date a while ago with a guy who told her he could 'feel her aura' and then proceeded to grab her head and put his tongue in her mouth and just sort of... leave it there? I don't think that's how you kiss people, that's more like fly-tipping. Then she went on a date with a different guy who she was convinced was going to murder her and was sinister as fuck and who kept casually making references to how many poisonous materials he could get his hands on and she kept making loud phonecalls to her friend explaining where she was and who she was with just in case the police needed to search for her body.

Sounds like your boss has good taste.

Creepiest thing that happened to me is back when I didn't have a car and I'd walk about 6 miles to work, a man pulled up next to me and asked if I wanted a ride. I figured it was someone I work with, because at the time my workplace employed over 2000 people and I couldn't recognize all of them, so I said yes.

Turned out the guy just thought I was hot and I had to spend the next five minutes warding off awkward, unwanted advances and removing his hand from my leg several times. Then he dropped me on the wrong side of I-10 when he saw I wasn't gonna put out, so I had to cross one of the nation's busiest freeways on foot. On the plus side, I did get to work about 45 minutes earlier than I otherwise would have.

Aside from that, I've had guns pointed at me and got drunk, smoked weed, and snorted cocaine with murderers, but that stuff didn't really creep me out.

I don't know about the creepiest thing that was said, but the creepiest thing that happened, was made even more creepy in hindsight.

When I was in school I was in the computer labs once, and a kid(Actually the headmasters son), a few years older, sat next to me, slowly placed his hand under the desk and tried to slide it onto my crotch. I pushed him away, logged off and left. Happened again a few weeks later, I pushed him off his chair, logged off and left. I felt it was creepy but I ignored it, didn't think much of it, and didn't say anything. I remember kicking him in the nuts for some reason at one point, can't remember if it was creepiness related. Probably was

That kid later turned out to have groomed and raped about 6-7(I think, that's the ones I know about) boys in my year and the years below, including one of my then best mates and room-mate. So in hindsight, realising I was a target to be groomed and raped, was pretty fucking creepy. Obviously not as awful as it was for the victims, but still creepy.

I think he targeted me as at that age, about 14, I wasn't that big for that age, I was quite nerdy and quiet, so I was similar to his other targets.

I was an assistant in my high school's library for two years. I worked with the same three middle-aged women every day. A few days before graduating, one of them made an advance at me. As I was leaving the library for the penultimate time, she stopped me at the door, looked me in the eye, unbuttoned the top two buttons of her shirt (or blouse, whatever old people wear), and said, "Jesse, I need a young man to take care of me."

[none]

I left the room without saying a word.

On my way to the city, the highway has a very closed curve where you can't see what's next on the road because of a mountain cut. It's extremely dangerous, a lot of people have died in that curve including a friend of mine. So one morning I was driving through there, going at a reasonable speed, I was on the right lane where the visibility is even worse, so for some reason I decided to switch lanes, just as I switched I saw there was a bus parked at the end of the curve. Just there chilling.

So have I remained on the right lane I would have probably slammed against it at 65-70 km/h. I wonder if I died there and my whole life now is just an illusion too!

We can't both be dead because, in the movie logic, delusional ghosts can't see/interact with other ghosts.

During my senior year, I volunteered to be a teacher's assistant because I wanted to put that on my college applications. I had a major crush on one of my history teachers(the hottest teacher I've ever had), so I asked her. She was in her late 20s, was of Hungarian heritage with "darker" features(dark olive skin, dark hair and eyes, etc), she had a very visible tattoo across her lower back("tramp stamp"), dressed sexily(pushing the limit of what might be "appropriate" for a high school teacher), she had a sort of sexy, raspy voice...and I mean...just exuded confidence and sexiness. It wasn't like I was going to try anything, I just wanted to be around her because I liked her a lot(which, in retrospect, is kind of creepy). She was the teacher all the guys talked about in the locker room. So, I became her TA...graded papers for her and what not. Other male students started winking at me and giving me high fives because they saw us together all the time...as if to say "I see what you're doing, you sly dog." We got closer, but maintained a pretty professional/appropriate relationship...joking around here and there. It turns out that spending a whole lot of time with someone you badly want to be with, while knowing you will never be able to do anything about it is pretty torturous. [none] And I began to regret the whole thing.

Last day of school she calls me over to show me that some ignorant douche wrote that he wanted to "fuck her in the ass" on an assignment she had collected. And she was laughing and joking about it in a way that came across to me as surprisingly flirtatious. It was a side to her I hadn't seen, 'cause she was generally a no-nonsense kind of person. Like, she trusted me that much that she could joke with me about something like that. Like the "professional" pretenses had been dropped. I laughed nervously, then there was this weird, silent tension for a few seconds...as I started to wonder(probably delusionally/wishfully) if she was coming on to me. Then we said our goodbyes, then I left.

I was haunted by that for a while [none]. Then I later realized that just because she might have been comfortable enough to joke around with me like that, doesn't mean she was necessarily coming on to me...even if one could argue it might have been inappropriate joking, given the social/professional context. So, what happened? Was she signaling that I should come back for her after I graduate? Or had I been friendzoned? [none]

Maybe it was nothing. It's the crush that make you see stuff that might not be there.

I had a huge platonic crush on my fixed prosthesis instructor and like you spent time with him a couple of hours 2-3 times a week. But as you said, our relationship was and still is very professional, he is one of the few teachers that keeps the teacher/student relationship line very defined, and that's why I liked working with him so much. Remember in my environment all the teachers look at women like they were prey and there's a lot of harassment and stuff going on. But he isn't like that. So I did like him in a platonic level, if he was at least 5 years younger and if he wasn't married with two girls, I'd probably crushed so hard. Besides he looks like Tom Hiddleston so that helps.

So this one time he told me "I am not working on Saturday, so cancel your patient." and I was like "Oh No! Why aren't you working?" And then he said "It's my birthday." So I said "That's not an excuse since Saturday is my birthday too and I'm working." And then he said "Oh you are from the 17th too! Well I'm taking the day off but for you, I could show up."

And I laughed and blushed and walked away, and then thought about it like you said. But he probably didn't mean it the way I think it did, since you know, your head is kind of screwed when you like someone.
