You know how everyone loves to joke about the different kids movies with supposedly traumatizing scenes (Bambi's mom getting shot in the face for ex)? Well, what traditional scenes that people love to reference didn't phase you? The only requirement is that you had to see the movie as a child, 10 years or younger (10 seems old I know, but I'm allowing some leeway)
Pinocchio - Just the whole damn movie when you think about it. From getting kidnapped and forced to perform to getting kidnapped, turned into donkeys, and forced into slave labor to getting eaten by a goddamn whale, I was never really that scared by any of it.
Bambi - Obviously Bambi's mom being killed. I'm fairly certain I was pretty young, maybe 4 when I first saw it. Yet it didn't really affect me.
Land Before Time - Little Foot's mom. I was 4, and her death was on screen. Same reaction as Bambi.
The Lion King - Mufasa's death. Again on screen. Again, nothing. Then again I was 10 at the time, so I had probably outgrown that phase of being traumatized by movies.
What childhood movies with "traumatizing scenes" were you not fazed by?

Bambi. Didn't bother me. I lost my shit at the death of Littlefoot's mother in Land Before Time and Mufasa's death but Bambi's mother didn't upset me.

None of the cartoons fazed me (they didn't phase me either
). I never gave a shit when a toon parent died. I saw Bambi a few times, and The Land Before Time was my favorite movie for a year or so. I may have even been glad when they got the parents out of the way, cuz the parents were always boring.

Bambi increased my interest in deer hunting.

Also, it doesn't have to be a parent getting axed or a cartoon. Just a movie people typically see as kids. Think Artax sinking in the swamp of sadness or just incredibly creepy imagery (Night on Bald Mountain), not that any of those would have gotten to you.
