Just discovered this on Netflix. Add this to the list of good shows cancelled for no reason.
I remember a few times trying to watch the movie 'Serenity' a while back...and I always had trouble getting into it. Though I had a sense that it was supposed to be a good movie...something didn't seem right about it. And I had trouble paying attention to it because of that. Turns out that it's because THERE'S A WHOLE DAMN SHOW THAT CAME BEFORE THE MOVIE!
How the fuck did I just discover 'Firefly'?

Firefly will always be remembered as a perfect show because it was never given the opportunity to be shit. It was all fresh and new and interesting.

Age-old question...Is it better to go out on top, or to be around as long as you can?
Should Michael Jordan have stayed retired after winning his last championship with the bulls....or was it better that he came back to prove he could still play(sort of)?![none [none]](./images/smilies/none.gif)

Both.
I think once you start to fade, it's best to quit before you fade too much. I don't mind if a show has a couple of weak seasons, but if it just continues in a downward spiral, it's best to pull the plug.

It came out whIle I was in college and it was terribly marketed, the latter of which is why it got cancelled. If people don't know about it, how are they going to get the necessary ratings?Cassius Clay wrote:Just discovered this on Netflix. Add this to the list of good shows cancelled for no reason.

That's what I'm learning. They also showed the episodes out of order and only aired every 3 weeks or so. Show never had a chance.
I hate Fox so much.
