Ok...off the top of my head such a measure would result in positive things right? Like, if everyone was mellow Joe Bob and Baby Doll then there'd be less bar violence which means less reliance on cops which means less cop brutality which means less taxes going to pay for cops we don't need no more?

I don't think it's a great idea. Second-hand smoke from pot can still be damaging, I don't think people should have to be exposed to that in bars.

If they wanted to legalize vaporizers, edibles, etc in bars, then I think that'd be fine.

The petition proposes to allow marijuana smoking and vaporizing in spaces that can't be publicly viewed. Smoking would likely be confined to enclosed outdoor areas, so venues can comply with state law that limits indoor smoking.

Would make sense to line it all up with the existing smoking laws.

As a man who worked as a bar tender while at college, I'd feel much better about serving a bar full of stoners than a bar full of piss heads .. I think this would be awesome all round.

I just assumed it would be same laws as cig smoking as in only in outdoor designated areas, are there even places that still allow smoking inside?
