Fine, I'll just go and make my own board and be right about things over there.

How do you make boards? Someone make a board for me.

That's the colors sane people saw in the photo. The actual dress, however, was not. Therefore, another nail in the coffin of the "Sometimes we just know" meme.

I was teaching children how to make plastic bag monsters and one kid couldn't cut through his layers of plastic bag so I did it for him and it turns out that one of the layers of plastic bag that I was cutting through was, in fact, my flesh.

A few days ago I had to pick up my mom, so I locked the house and got in the car, but... the batter was dead because I left the door half open since the last time I went to uni. And then when I tried to get back to my house, I find out that.... I locked myself out. [none]

My younger sister called me one morning a few months ago to tell me she'd accidentally left her headlights on and her battery ran down and she needed my help.

I said "Don't you still have that battery charger I gave you a few years ago?"

She said "Yeah, but it's not working either."

I said "What do you mean it's not working?"

"I've got it plugged into to the cigarette lighter and it's not even coming on."

"Would this be the lighter on the car with the dead battery?"

"Yeah."

"Call me back in a few minutes after you've had time to think about that."

So she called back ten minutes later and said she ran an extension cord and plugged it up in the house and got her car started. I said "That's good sis." Then I looked at my niece and said "The best thing about you is you're not as dumb as your mom." She laughed and said "You mean you're not as dumb as your baby sister."

I tried for a minute, to open the can, without figuring out that the little thing that opens it. Was backwards. [none] And she was like "Let me have this." Nah, they just don't bother me at all.

I tend to like things that make a conventionally attractive person, look that little bit different, kinda like 'flaws' that aren't really flaws. So to take a person on this board I obviously like, big eyes is one.

Freckles is another, though she doesn't have them. It's things like that which draw me to a face though.

Derived Absurdity wrote:The obsession with Asian women is indeed very creepy. It's because there's an idea (I've seen it mostly in Manosphere and red pill circles) that Asian women are submissive and sexualized and overly feminine. They get their conceptions of Asians from porn and "Asian dating" sites.
The main reason this fetishization of Asian women is bad is because Asian-American women apparently experience disproportionately high rates of sexual violence. And it is believed this fetishization is a huge factor. Black women also experience a disproportionately high rate of sexual violence and harassment. Because the justice system manages to give even less of a damn when black women are assaulted(and I heard recently, but haven't verified, that it wasn't officially illegal to rape a black woman in America until about 1950).

Another reason mainstream/white feminism is a problem (and why a lot of black women distance themselves from feminism) is because a lot of those alarming rape statistics are as high as they are because of the high rates of sexual assault with women of color. But when these statistics are mentioned, women of color are often erased or they're an afterthought. The disproportionate racialized misogyny is erased. So mainstream feminism is exploiting the suffering of non-white women to advance white womanhood.
