My junior and senior years in High School I parked my truck in the student parking lot with a rifle and shotgun clearly visible in my rifle rack every day. So did all my friends. Nobody wanted to waste time going home after school to get our guns for hunting. But I don't think anybody ever built anything that looked like a bomb. One kid did bring a few sticks of dynamite one time so we could blow up a beaver dam but who worries about dynamite at a school?

1. You went to school at a different era and more rural area.
2. I'm assuming you were smart enough with your guns to keep them out of class rather than taking them into the building to show them off.
