So the landslide and my friend

So there are few stories of dogs digging people out of the area and looking for their family. But the thing is, my friend keeps posting stories of animals being saved, and it's like yes, it's nice to know firefighters are digging animals out too. But that's the only thing he posts about. He posted a story of a bombero rescuing a couple of parrots, and it's like..... what about the children and the people? I can't feel happy for a damn parrot when there are entire families buried and dead underneath the earth. But he only cares about the damn dogs and parrots.

Wtf????

I've actually heard that some psycopaths feel more empathy for animals than humans. [none]

You're not alone...everyone in the world are psychpaths, some of us are just better at hiding it.

Everybody knows psychopaths don't know how to spell psychopath. I'm onto you.

(I had to double-check my spelling and I almost spelled it psychophats).

Everyone knows the crazier psychopaths would be the only ones brave enough to correct another's mistake.

Did you know that during the 1980's the British government considered hiring psychopaths so that in the event of a nuclear war they'd be able to make calm, rational decisions without getting all emotional about the impact they'd have on people's lives... Truefact.

The only reason they didn't do it in the end was they were concerned that if it ever became public it might be a PR issue.

So a bunch of psychopaths considered hiring other psychopaths?

Basically.

Intellectually you can kinda see the reasoning and it kinda makes sense... but "no". Just "no".

Not so much that they were going to hire psychopaths, but more that someone in the government had the sort of mentality that thought it was a good idea in the first place, which leads you to think they were probably quite far along the psychopath scale too.
