In other words food you cook tastes a little better the next day.
I've moticed this about some of my dishes. It's like the flavors have chance to settle in so to speak
Is it me or does it seem some day old food tastes better?

Agreed. Pizza, especially, I've found.
The agonies which are have their origin in the ecstasies which might have been.

See for me pizza is best when fresh and hot...

Definitely a lot of slow-cooker style foods. Especially chili. But Mur is right and Sikax is crazy; pizza definitely not as good reheated. (And don't even mention cold pizza; that's just nasty).
