I know that some quarters blame "the system" for being rigged against ethnic minorities (and I suspect it is many ways), but I was interested that these show that poor white kids are getting worse exam results that poor non-white children - by a fairly significant margin.

And I suspect it's no real surprise to anyone that poorer kids of all backgrounds get worse results that wealthier kids.

I don't have a point - I just thought it was interesting.

F1 is almost as tedious as cricket!

I think poor white kids don't try as hard because the white government system will hand them benefits. Poor minorities work hard to prove themselves and drag themselves out of poverty. General sweeping statement based on anecdotal evidence.

I wonder what the results are in the US.
