Why do people even bother trash talking Ronda Rousey?

Rousey is a pretty brutal trash talker herself.
There was the whole "better get used to wiping your ass with your other arm comment." Threatening to break her opponent's dominant arm..a threat she followed through on.
The one that really struck me was after she dominated some other opponent (I'm pretty sure that's the girl in the op)...she said something about how she'll never have to think about her opponent again, but her opponent will have to keep thinking about her. I mean....that's some playground shit, but I was like "ooohh snaaapp!"
