Man, hanging around with such insanely conservative people has brought out a lot of good in Jude. A few quotes from him on a recent Facebook discussion on racism:
"I'm not bragging that [white people are] the majority, i'm saying that's what makes it sad when people like Tim ostensibly play down our racism... the fact that we're the majority is all the more reason for us to be socially conscious of our own racist tendencies. its to our shame that we don't."
"black lives matter is a legitimate approach to spotlighting the perpetuity of racism. It's not called "ONLY black lives matter", and it's pedestrian for white people to speak as though it is."
"White people will always try to push back against conviction for racism. It's what they do."
BTW, this was arguing with a guy who had just posted this (quoting someone else, saying he agreed with it):
"Calling a white person "racist" is the equivalent of calling a black person 'the n word'."
