I didn't like him at first 'cause he plays up the Irish thing too much and he's a less charismatic Ali wannabe.

But, I gotta admit I really like his fighting style. It's pure craft and timing. And he said something like "precision beats power, and timing beats speed." Which is something I fundamentally believe in when it comes to most sports.

True, but the persona he plays up to has probably brought him opportunities faster than he would have got them if he was just quietly going about his business. And it's almost certainly earned him more money. Fortunately he has the talent to back up that big mouth of his.
