I didn't watch it but I could tell from the trailers how bad it was going to be.

It's exactly this kind of thing that pisses me off about movies whose target audience skews 7 and under. You know they just threw around the "It's for kids" as an excuse to be lazy.

But there are great quality animated pictures from WDAS/ Pixar with a couple of hits from Dreamworks Animation and Illumination. Even Sony puts in effort for their 7 or under crowd even though they're trying to make kids' movies rather than family movies. Blue Sky's Peanuts movie gave the fans what they wanted and introduced a new generation while still keeping the spirit.

It pisses me off that because of movies like this, superior animated movies will not be legitimized as equal to live action, despite all the turds live action movies produce as well.
