Finally a list of movies I've actually watched. What we have learned is that the Superhero movie genre has improved in the past 2 or 3 decades while every other genre has taken a nosedive in quality. Okay, Joe Pesci sucked, but somebody had to.

I like about 98 percent of the movies on all 3 lists.

Very few that I've seen but don't own this time. But lots that I haven't seen nor own.
This Is Spinal Tap - I didn't like it as much as most people; just because I don't like the mockumentary style... don't like any other Guest stuff or the Office much.
*Police Academy - Classic.
*The Natural - Haven't seen it yet.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - This was pretty bad... I'm pretty sure people only like it because of the franchise.
*Ghostbusters - Classic
*Amadeus - Amazing
*Beverly Hills Cop - Pretty good
*The Goonies - Don't remember too much about this
*Rocky IV - Great stuff. Happy birthday Paulie.
*Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Love it.
*Labyrinth - Best thing ever.
*Hoosiers - Haven't seen it.
*Platoon - Depressing of course; good movie.
*Raising Arizona - Great movie.
Beverly Hills Cop II - They made a 2?
*Spaceballs - Love it.
*Full Metal Jacket - Haven't seen this in over 10 years; don't remember it too well.
*Planes, Trains and Automobiles - Saw this for the first time last year; bought it immediately.
*Good Morning, Vietnam - Don't remember this much.
*Bull Durham - Finally watched this recently. Decent.
*Who Framed Roger Rabbit - Childhood favorite; still good.
*Die Hard - Great; though perhaps a little overhyped.
*Cocktail - Love this.
*Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - Great movie; rewatched recently.
*Rain Man - Great.
*Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure - Excellent.
*Field of Dreams - One of my all-time favorites.
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - Probably the best of them.
*Ghostbusters II - I'm not sure if I've seen this or not.
*Batman - Very good.
Weekend at Bernie's - I remember the sequel better.
*Uncle Buck - Haven't watched yet.
*Goodfellas - Great.
*Home Alone - Classic
*Rocky V - Meh, not as bad as people say.
*Edward Scissorhands - One of my favorites.
*The Silence of the Lambs - Good.
*The Rocketeer - More people should see this.
*Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey - Better than the first.
*Barton Fink - The only Cohen Bros I don't really like... I just don't get it, after a couple tries.
*The Fisher King - Way more people need to watch this.
*Cape Fear - Love that music.
*Wayne's World - Party on.
*My Cousin Vinny - Love it.
*White Men Can't Jump - Really love it.
Unforgiven - Did not like... just didn't grab my attention at all.
*Reservoir Dogs - So great.
*Malcolm X - Haven't seen it yet.
*Home Alone 2 - Almost as good as the first.
*A Few Good Men - As good as everyone says.
*Groundhog Day - Loved as a kid; didn't care as much when I saw it a few years ago.
*The Sandlot - Classic.
*The Fugitive - Don't remember it all that well.
*Cool Runnings - Remember liking it as a kid.
*Rudy - Dont' remember much.
*Mrs. Doubtfire - Rewatched last week, still good and sad.
*Wayne's World 2 - I can't remember which scenes were from the first and which were the second.
*Schindler's List - Haven't seen it yet.
*What's Eating Gilbert Grape - One of my favorites

I agree that comedy has declined drastically, but not the rest.

I can't take this list seriously, as it makes the horribly grievous, unforgivable error of omitting the Back to the Future trilogy.
