Post a song that matches how you're feeling
This song epitomizes my joy. I went hiking on a beautiful day with a great group of people yesterday. I also hung out with my Star Wars rpg'ers & we played a one-shot Rebellion campaign.
Today I discovered I had made more progress in my Body Pump class than I thought (I added more weight & while I didn't make it all the way through all the sections, it was consistent with what I've done with lighter weights). I also had a date. Not sure if there's anything there but just glad to have gotten out there so I have more experience under my belt.
And with my mood, I'm feeling that song.

Good to hear things are looking up, man. I'm especially glad you're dating, as someone who was so painfully introverted and shy that I sat on the sidelines when I desperately wanted a romantic relationship, it's really good to see you making strides to overcome that bullshit.

The other day I had been listening to Radiohead for the first time in years. When I got to the song Gagging Order I suddenly felt a wave of wistful nostalgia thinking about IMDb and all the years spent there, being sad that it was all coming to an end. Not sure why the song seems to capture my feelings about it so well, but it does:
"As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being." -- Carl Jung
