Where are all the brave defenders of free speech? Too busy fear-mongering about the slippery slope of language policing on college campuses? Trigger words in classrooms(AKA students demanding more empathy/sensitivity with certain topics) is where the real fight lies, not a BILLIONAIRE Trump-supporter using COURTS to punish a publication he doesn't like.

Gawker are trash though (I assume we're talking about Peter Thiel and Gawker) so I have to be firmly Team No One.

True. But this is a legitimate free speech issue. Well, at least a lot more meaningful than "language policing".

I like the commenters and some of the columnists (although all of my favourites have now left) and a lot of the articles are interesting but Jezebel have also pulled some proper dick moves.

Did you read those articles I posted here a while ago? Those were good.

Ah, yes yes! I didn't read them at the time because the same brain trouble that makes my memory really bad also makes my concentration really bad so I have to be having a good brain day to read long things. I will try and do better this time!

This is one of those issues where you hate the thing someone says but fight for their right to say it, but I'm really struggling with the latter even though I now it's important.
