The Joys of Going to An Amusement Park alone

I must admit I prefer going to amusement parks worh groups. Easier to play off the energy of the park and wait out the lines when you're with others. But going to Kings Dominion with my meetup group had some disadvantages. With a group there's almost always someonr who doesn't want to go on a certain ride, which means someone else has to be left behind. You have to go at group pace which might not be as fast or as slow as you'd like.
I had a unique opportunity due to meetup plans falling through (i.e. no one wanting to go on a day with rain in then forecast) and my already paid for mini vacation to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. As you can guess, I did a solo visit to the park today. I did all the rides I wanted without having to consider anyone else but riders in line. I rode a couple of coasters twice. And while they don't offer single rider lined, I've been able to take advantage of groups letting me on because not enough seats were available for them. Plus I caught all their cheesy shows (what? I like a break between rides that turn my guts inside out)
