I guess I'm the only American here old enough to remember Maria on Sesame Street in her 20s. This was fucking Sesame Street and this woman was sexy as hell.

I stopped watching Sesame Street around the age of 5, and I didn't start feeling an attraction to girls until at least a couple years later. I don't remember a Maria.

I always thought Ashley was cuter than Hilary. I wasn't attracted to Hilary, I think because of her character's personality rather than her looks. The whole spoiled, superficial Valley girl thing was a turn off.

I was trying to rationalize this away, but you just made me realize I'm kind of attracted to the whole valley girl act. I'm...ashamed.
