Responsibilities changing at work

I'm very excited. I was kind of worried because with all the restructuring going on and my original responsibilities being taken away, I was starting to think they might be getting rid of my position. This is especially true considering that

But they want to leverage my accounting degree, and while I won't be a main person in that department, I'll be working in some areas of that and be an accounting assistant to the new staff accountants coming in in a few months.

In addition, I'll be in charge of handling the seasonal temps.

So exciting times.

I normally say 'Huzzah' and throw my monocle in the air but I was trying to be casual.

A real Brit would have said: "Not bad".

At least that's the common prejudice in Germany. [winkgrin]

I'm opposed to responsibility.

I bet you felt it was your responsibility to say that.
