Chelsea Manning is getting surgery.

I mean, I would rather that happen and also for her to be released from prison and everyone both responsible for her imprisonment and supportive of it be executed, but we live in a fallen world and we should take what we can get.

It's always struck me as kind of unfair that prisoners sometimes get better healthcare than non-prisoners, and one worry about this is that trans people are going to intentionally get themselves in jail so they can have HRT or surgery, especially if the cost is covered.

I'm just glad something good is happening to Chelsea Manning for once.
