Yesterday the wind kissed my cheek in play
Today the wind blew houses in rage away
Yesterday the rain made the flowers grow
Today the rain made the rivers overflow

The wind and the rain danced hand in hand
Bringing devastation throughout my land
The wind and the rain ran over the ground
Turning houses and buildings upside down

Yesterday the wind and the rain hid the sun
As they played with people on the run
Yesterday the wind and the rain laughed
As they swept people in their path

Yesterday was so long ago
Yesterday has not sunk in yet
Yesterday is again today
Yesterday will be everyday
