Cat died

One of our cats died on Friday.

No idea how or why. He was 10, so not young but not old. Came home late Friday night, and he was just dead.

Well we're not the types to try and pay for an autopsy to find out or something. But we took him to the vet for proper body-handling; and the vet said that based on it looks like he died in his sleep, and it could have been a heart problem.

Condolences.
We have four cats and I know how upset we'll be when one of them dies. Hell - I know how upset we got when we thought one of them had disappeared/when another one of them was taken very ill and we didn't think was going to live.
So people can get all weird with you saying "it's only a cat", but it's not - it's a member of your family too and its perfectly normal to get upset when they pass.
