The closednessness made it pretty boring, TBH. Six people arguing about which Avengers movie sucks the least, it loses its appeal. Perhaps now would be the time to consider the larger, more open board we discussed years ago; with a "V.I.P" sub-section, of course. We were talking about how we didn't have enough of a user base to make a go of it, but the combined familiarity of the people here could possibly lure enough people over to a new board that it could become self-sustaining. It's something to ponder, anyways.

So, punching Nazis: yay or nay?

If I'm stronger than them, or they pinky-swear not to punch back, yes. Otherwise, no. My nose is valuable for me, it's where I store all my gold.

The place has always been designed to be "open" in that anyone who wants to join, can, unless we have knowledge that the person only joined with the intent of causing trouble for our other members. Making the posts able to be readable by non-members wasn't having any impact on membership, and it was causing some concerns with a few people like Vegas/Marv.

It's good to see you back. I'm over fifty years old and I've still never shot anybody.
