idk man. I'm digging everything except Pennywise. This guy is basically the Jared Leto to Tim Curry's Heath Ledger. If that makes any sense. It's gonna be the mirror image of the original - everything is going to be good except the title character.

I'm not getting why this movie is such huge news. I'm a fan of the old one, while acknowledging its silly flaws. But I'm not seeing anything in these trailers to make this look like anything other than a typical modern-day mediocre horror film. Remakes are common place these days; why is this one a big deal?

Idk, because a lot of people have nostalgia for the old one, probably. I didn't know it was that huge news.

Edit: okay... so I guess it broke the all-time record for most views online. Damn. Idk what's up with that.

Remakes have always been common. It's not some new phenomenon.

This can't be emphasized enough. The beginning years of narrative film are littered with remakes, adaptations etc. No different than now.

This just means you should put focus on execution more than anything.
