I am massively concerned about the privacy issues there. At least with a smartphone you can leave it behind.

I remember my mother warning me when I was a kid that the "mark of the beast" was going to be microchips implanted in us in precisely this way. A very, very small part of me is terrified she was right.

Pretty much this, except I don't think it was my mother, I think it was someone at school or something.
