Taiwan court rules in favour of same-sex marriage

It's not yet codified in law (that needs to be done within 2 years), but gay couples can now register for marriage.
I have friends now making plans to get married there. :D Previously they'd have to save up enough to travel all the way to Australia/NZ/US/Canada, which also made it a lot harder for family and friends to attend. Taiwan is way cheaper and nearer.
And this strikes a huge blow to the Singapore government's argument that homosexuality isn't in line with Asian values, especially when the main opposition in Taiwan was backed by US churches.
