I think the next Doctor Who should be a gay, black, atheist, vegetarian transsexual with dwarfism.

About time too. My only concern is the sonic screwdriver - as a women she's obviously not going to have a clue how to use it. So they'll need to replace it with something more in keeping with her new form like a sonic spatula.

You know, I can kinda understand why some people get mad over the gender/race swaps of SOME beloved characters that have been basically the same for ages (I usually don't agree with it, because in most cases the gender/race wasn't really relevant to the characters)... but when it comes to a character where the idea of regenerating into different people is part of the mythology, how in the world do you justify raging about it in that case?
