That's why I have them.

I have three piercings in my left ear (four if you count a scaffold piercing as two) - a lobe piercing, a tragus piercing and the aforementioned industrial, barbed wire tattooed all the way around my right wrist, and a nautical star alongside some more stars on my left inner forearm.

What do you have?

Or am I the only person dumb enough to let complete strangers stick me with needles and inject potentially harmful ink into my skin?

I'm dull, I just have your standard lobe piercings in each ear, that are constantly in danger of closing over because I never remember to wear earrings. I quite like tattoos and other piercings on other people but I don't think they'd suit me. I might go for a second lobe piercing one day but that's probably as wild as I'd get.

I don't have any tattoos because I'm not gay. But my pet lesbian #1 has a huge damn eagle tattoo that covers her entire back and some weird shit tattooed on both forearms and tattoos on both ankles. The other two lesbians also have tattoos but not to that degree.

I just had a tattoo made in the palm of my left hand. I had the desire 25 or so years ago and had to come to a place of reconciliation before I had it done. It was not for ego but rather what my personal beliefs are in a spiritual sense.

I could talk about my scarring but that would probably put people off since there is not a comfortable place to talk about it here.

Not really a fan of tattoos or piercings. Facial piercings are particularly off-putting for me, but I know nobody goes in to get a piercing like, "I wonder what Bruce will think of this," so I keep my distaste to myself, except in this thread, because you sort of asked.
