Been meaning to read this, but it seems really long...and based on reactions I've seen to it, I'm not sure it says anything new that I don't already believe or haven't already stated/considered. Coates is an awesome writer tho.

I read it last night and ended up overshooting my bedtime. It's good stuff.

It doesn't say anything new. But it says old stuff in a very eloquent way.

He's always been super problematic when it comes to stuff like that. That's why I could never fully like or trust him.

I'm not seeing how that has anything to do with him wanting 'the money', as others have accused him of (he could have very well said nothing instead, and he's not earning anything from this). I read it more that he likes the idea of Howard's students getting to challenge Comey and beat him in debate.

Lol. There's no social utility in challenging someone like James Comey to a "debate" any more than there is someone like Milo or Charles Murray. As ex-director of the FBI that makes him a de facto white supremacist and one of the biggest threats to humanity in the world. Duh. I thought that would be obvious.
