I'm actually trying to convince someone that just because the 13 year old girl never saw it as rape and grew up to be well-adjusted... doesn't mean it wasn't rape.

I'm pissed off at the comments framing this as as a liberal/leftist problem where liberals are apparently totally fine with sexual assault and pedophilia, and 'these are the same people who want grown men in the bathroom with your daughter'.

Aren't those the same people who keep complaining about liberal feminists who think every men is a rapist and accuse women of making false rape accusations?

The same thing happens in ultra-Conservative Nashville with young women trying to make it as country music singers. So it's bullshit to try to make this about "them liberal perverts".
