Let's list our favorite writers! OK, I'll start:

Fyodor Dostoyevsky (The Idiot, The Brothers Karamazov, Demons, Crime and Punishment etc)

Hunter S. Thompson (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail, The Great Shark Hunt etc.)

Henry Miller (Tropic of Cancer, Tropic of Capricorn etc.)

Leo Tolstoy (Anna Karenina, War and Peace, The Cossacks etc.)

Charles Dickens (Bleak House, David Copperfield, Hard Times, A Christmas Carol, Great Expectations etc.)

Edgar Allan Poe (The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym, "The Raven", "The Bells", "The Cask of Amontillado" etc.)

James Joyce (Ulysses, Finnegans Wake, Dubliners etc.)

Yes and well I'm sure there are some who are slipping my mind right now (Fitzgerald, Proust, Vonnegut, Wright etc.) Yes.
