1. We may be the only ones here who get the Yeerk reference (I was obsessed with Animorphs for years in gradeschool).

2. That article was interesting... and very creepy.

Whatever it is, I'm against it.

So was I! I collected all 54 including all the Megamorph ones. ("Collected" in that I bought them all for about ten bucks from a garage sale.) Have you ever read Everworld?

I had them all too (including the "Chronicles" books), but I bought them monthly as they were released. I think I first saw them in one of those "book order" magazines we'd get at school. I ordered the first volume and was hooked. From then on it was a tradition for my mom to take me to Walmart every month to buy the new issue.

I didn't read Everworld... didn't even know about it, actually.

Most people don't. I think Everworld is a bit better. It's darker and the characters are much deeper. Sometimes the writing is terrible because she was rushing them out, but it's surprisingly great at parts. The ending is awful, though.

I like the comments on that article.

Everworld was great. There was also the Remnants series by K.A. Applegate, which was darker than the other two.

I've never read Remnants. I did read the Gone series by Michael Grant, her husband, and I thought it was horrible. I did hear that he helped her write Animorphs and Everworld... it's good to know that apparently all the things in those stories that make them good were written by her.

It's nice to know someone else who is even aware of Everworld, let alone likes it. Everworld was my obsession for years, but I had no one to share it with because no one ever heard of it. There aren't even any real discussions of it online. It was kind of terrible.
