I sent my Lady this article as she is a neuroscientist (although not a neurosurgeon, so take it for what you will). Here is her response:
"More neurons doesn't equal smarter. Also Frontiers journals are shit"

This study is bogus, by the way. A neuron count doesn't indicate intelligence--as one biologist critical of the report pointed out, dogs might have more neurons because so much of their brain is dedicated to olfactory processing.
