An entire state's public school system closed for a week and counting.

An absolutely unambiguously good cause.

Zero times it's been on the front page of any major newspaper. The times it's even been mentioned by NYT or WaPo can be counted on two hands. On MSNBC I think maybe Chris Hayes talked about it for four minutes.

The demented right-wing freaks are right that the media is liberal. Just not in the way they think.

I had no idea there was a strike going on in America (or what it's over). When are they sending the strike breakers in? (Just finished watching Damnation)

I was shocked to discover they have teachers in West Virginia. You wouldn't think there are any teachers in the entire state if you ever talk to someone from West Virginia.
