You can forward scam emails to them, and then they'll have a chatbot engage with the scammers for massive lolz. They're currently on hiatus and using the time to improve their algorithms, but you can still forward them spam mail that they'll use for research.

the whole point is to stop vulnerable people getting hurt, not to hurt more of them

(although I disagree with the author's point that email scams are a form of seeking (illegal) reparations from white Westerners, because we get no shortage of them here in Asia, and this includes relatives in developing countries who are the opposite of rich white men. If anything, rich white men are the least likely to fall for such scams.)

So after responding to a bunch of scammers, my email address ended up on a list and I'm now winning the lottery and being offered large inheritances multiple times a day. The latest is a woman who is very ill with cancer (which she inexplicably did not see a specialist for because she decided on her own that it was "too late") and wishes to give away her millions to a charitable person to benefit orphans and widows before she dies. I'm giving her medical advice, telling her to get her butt to a specialist, and encouraging her to keep fighting, because with all that money she can surely afford the best healthcare in the world.
