Flix I seen (speaking of propaganda)

The Iron Giant - Only took me 15 years to finally see it. Pretty good, though very simple. I mean, it's a kids movie mostly. But good animation, heartfelt sentiment. But total liberal anti-gun propaganda. ![[none]](./images/smilies/none.gif "none")
Jarhead - Good look into war and the life of Marines. Jake is excellent as always.
Jacob's Ladder - Good, as expected. I wasn't blown away by it, but it had been very hyped up for me. And the whole thing had already been spoiled a bit, though it's also not one of those twists that you can't see coming. Since I knew the spoiler, I actually wasn't sure if the writers had intended for it to be a secret until the end, or if you were supposed to have already figured it out through various things that were said.
Dark City (Director's Cut) - Great movie. It's been long enough since I've seen it that I didn't recognize the Director's Cut changes.
Nights in Rodanthe - I had this one mostly because it's about the Outer Banks. And because I like Sparks' other stuff ok. This was pretty bad. I mean, it just seemed to have no point. Spoilers: The main character dies at the end.. And it just seems like there was no reason at all for that to happen. It had nothing to do with the main plot or point. It just seemed like Sparks saying "Yeah, I like to kill my main characters to make the reader sad, lulz."
Almost Famous - I guess I was expecting more. I mean, it was definitely good; but it had been really hyped up. The music was great of course. The acting was great.
