The Pitters' Place

I just saw the trailer. They filmed in Singapore - where the story is set - and some of them are supposed to be Singaporean characters, but not one of them has a Singaporean accent. Hollywood basically got a bunch of Asian actors from around the world and pretended they were born and raised in my country. It's creating this uncanny valley effect and messing with my brain.

Other people have also criticised the lack of racial diversity, because we're a multiracial country and yet everyone in the trailer is inexplicably East Asian or white. That plus the accents is really surreal.
