Just watched episode 1, and I didn't really understand why Jimmy was suddenly happy at the end. I guess he felt Howard took some of the responsibility for pushing Chuck over the line, but Jimmy is the one that tipped off the insurance company, isn't he?

I think Jimmy is just pinning all of the responsibility onto Howard, even though he was the one who tipped the company off, and in general is just trying not to give a shit anymore.
