Tenet (2020; Christopher Nolan)
I saw it too. I was really looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint. Unlike Rax, I LOVED it. I thought the scenes with inverted entropy were really cool and awesome. I would definitely say that this is a film with many memorable individual scenes that do not necessarily cohere to form a meaningful whole. But despite that... I really had a great time.
I mean I liked the movie, I'm not one of these haters, it just didn't wow me.
If I'm not mistaken, that means that Memento remains your favourite Nolan film, and The Dark Knight Rises your least favourite.

Tbh I'd have to rewatch most of his movies to say what my favorite is. Like its probably Memento but I like The Prestige as well.

Same with least favorite, it could be Dark Knight Rises but I'm not sure I like it less than like Insomnia for example. Inception falls pretty low for me too these days.

Memento is probably my favorite; but maybe The Dark Knight. Also a big fan of Inception. The Dark Knight Rises is easily least favorite; maybe his only movie that I consider not good.

Resident Evil (2002; Paul W.S. Anderson)
Really good horror/action film. I thought it was stylish and quite disturbing.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004; Alexander Witt)
I liked it almost as much as the first. Unlike the first, it takes place above the ground in the city, so it fells less claustrophobic and more open.

The Midnight Sky (2020; George Clooney)
Clooney's latest is a rather uneventful Sci-Fi drama. Not recommended.

Resident Evil: Extinction (2007; Russell Mulcahy)
This one wasn't quite as good as the first two, but it was watchable. It takes format of a post-apocalyptic film. You could say the film is Mad Max lite.

Another Earth (2011; Mike Cahill)
This is a drama with Sci-Fi elements. It was good. Unlike Clooney's film, it had a good script and some really good ambiance. I would recommend it if you haven't seen it.

Casino (1995; Martin Scorsese)
I saw it last time a year ago. I rewatched it and I love it. Call me superficial, but I love the glitz & blitz and glamour of Las Vegas. I love the look of the film, all the shiny lights and beautiful interiors. The plot of the film is also very entertaining. Definitely one of my favourite films.

Goodfellas (1990; Martin Scorsese)
I saw it last time 3 and a half years ago. I rewatched it and it is an awesome gangster film about seductiveness of crime life. It is directed with some awesome stylistic flair by Scorsese. It is probably even better than 'Casino', but that doesn't mean I necessarily prefer it to 'Casino'. I probably prefer 'Casino' because it is more visually stunning in my opinion.

That is it for this year. I saw 256 films and I completed one very long anime series.

I loved GoodFellas and Casino. I remember liking those early Anderson Resident Evil movies well enough for what they were, but they never really felt much like the video games to me.
