She's been spamming Keanu's hashtag with vague accusations and tweeting libelous statements at everyone who has ever worked with him, plus various news outlets, plus anyone who says anything positive about the guy.

A friend compiled some of her posts over the years. From what I gather, that person's case so far can be summarised as:

"Keanu is a heartless, immature asshole who, with his friend Amanda, plays crazy mind games on the internet that humiliate and hurt innocent women for his amusement. He does this because he has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, despises his fans, and is addicted to the internet (while he cleverly denies even having a computer in interviews). He abuses his fame and power by pretending to be a variety of other people online, exploiting vulnerable fans by exposing their offline private information which he found on a public website that - through what was presumably extremely crafty SEO strategy - only he and Amanda had access to, proving that it had to be them. He has meanwhile spent decades being kind and incredibly generous to people in real life, but it's all a sham so that no one would believe what a horrible person he actually is."

I know that lots of celebs (like Bill Cosby) turn out to not be what they seem at first glance, so I usually prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt. But... this person has never interacted with Keanu IRL at all. She apparently met him online, where he led her on to believe that he wanted to marry her, for which she uprooted herself and her kids from their home and travelled all the way to LA; whereupon he did not show up, leaving her stranded and homeless, and now she hates him and wants to destroy him. *facepalm*

I'm 99.9% sure that 'Keanu' was just some random person amused at her gullibility who decided to exploit it for the lolz.

I would pity her, because she obviously has issues. But the misguided hate campaign she's launched all over social media is disturbing, and while Keanu is doing fine and doesn't need anyone's pity, some of her targets include my friend, whom she's been stalking and harassing online with violent insults because she's convinced that said friend is Keanu's sockpuppet.

The internet is a weird place.

It looks like Grey Malkin gave up on Jeremy Northam and found another target. My only problem with Keanu is he's a horrible actor who belongs in prison for impersonating an actor, except it's such a bad impersonation I doubt many people fall for it.

This person clearly has psychological problems and needs help. This kind of behaviour can eventually manifest offline and someone could get hurt. I just hope that she's not as horrible a human being as Grey Malkin and that someone will reach out to help here.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. She has a lot of repressed anger, and I wouldn't put violence beyond her. And she has kids. Unfortunately she has been being a horrible human to lots of people, like sending vitriolic messages to random strangers who say such outrageous things like "Keanu is a pretty cool guy", calling them brainwashed idiots and whatnot. Mental healthcare needs to get better.

It's disturbing how gullible people seem to be when it comes to believing someone online is a celebrity, even when there's zero evidence for it and the fake accounts are so obviously fake (e.g. spelling their name wrong or barely having a grasp on basic grammar when they're supposed to be a native English speaker). And yet some of those on Facebook or whatever have thousands of followers, dozens of whom are convinced that the person is the real deal. It's wide open for scammers. In the past I successfully convinced people I was various celebrities, and it didn't take much effort. although I used my powers for good rather than evil.

This person is now going after Keanu's co-workers, management, friends and family - some of whom aren't famous - and spamming them with angry comments about how if they had any self-respect they wouldn't work with such an insincere asshole and would tell him to clean up his act and apologise to the fans he hurt online. I think there's probably a line that's been crossed here. When I'm freer I'm going to work my internet powers and put an end to this. She needs legal action and mental health help before someone gets hurt.

Pretty much everything I've read about Keanu is that he's the nicest person in Hollywood. Hard for me to believe this story.

Well yes, but she claims that is just his craftiness and PR skills at work, pretending to be the nicest person ever so that no one would believe anyone who claimed otherwise.
